New Planning Tools for Hitched Events Clients

My blog posting has been a bit a little light recently, but I do have a good excuse. A super, awesome excuse, actually! I’ve been hard at work putting the final touches on a new planning solution for my clients, and it. is. awesome.

Hitched Events full planning and partial planning clients now have access to an online, customized wedding planning portal where they can see everything related to their wedding all in one place. It’s completely collaborative, so anyone granted access to the portal (bride, groom, mother of the bride, etc.) can check items off the to do list, upload files, or send a message to the group. I set up two new Hitched Events couples with their personal planning portals (say that ten times fast!) over the weekend and have already gotten rave reviews. Here are just a few reasons my clients are loving it:

  • Secure, Online Access: Each person that is given access to the planning portal has their own unique log-in. And because it’s online, clients can access their planning portal anywhere they have internet access — home, work, the coffee shop. Clients simply visit the Hitched Events website and click the Client Access link to access their wedding portal.

  • Interactive To Do Lists: Each client’s online portal contains a customized to-do list based on their specific wedding needs. Tasks are assigned to different members of the planning team along with deadlines, and clients simply check the items off the list as they are completed. Because the Hitched Events planning portal is collaborative, the system alerts everyone on the project that the task has been checked off and by whom. Similarly, clients can see the tasks that Hitched Events is working on behind the scenes and will know when we’ve completed something related to their wedding.

  • Message Center: The message center is just like email, but without clogging up our inboxes. Clients can send messages to their planner and vice versa, and everything is stored in one neat place. We can reply to each others’ messages or start new ones, and everything is categorized, making it super easy to locate and reply to messages in the future.

  • File Storage: Because the portal is online, clients have access to their wedding related documents anywhere they have internet access. Vendor contracts, budget spreadsheets and other planning documents are easily accessible online in just a few clicks!
