A few weeks ago we had our very first Hitched Academy at The Adolphus Hotel in Downtown Dallas. Recently engaged couples (and even a few moms!) gathered to hear from some of the best professionals in the industry about the ins and outs of wedding planning.

Hitched Academy Founder, Kimberly Rhodes, jumped right into everything weddings, and gave our attendees an overview of the history of weddings, what a wedding planner does, and the different tasks involved with planning a wedding. The Hitched Academy professors discussed how to create a budget, and more importantly, how to stay on budget! Our panel of industry professionals were on hand all day to answer any questions from our attendees, and even provided some helpful tips to our newly engaged couples!
