Dallas-Fort Worth Weddings – Are You Average?

I received this infographic this morning from the folks at Dallas-Fort Worth photobooth company Snapshot Pod, and I just had to share it. Of course, every wedding is different, and what one bride prioritizes over another makes a difference in their wedding spending by category (more on photography? less on flowers?), but I thought this graphic was great for showing the average expenditures in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

With an “average” Dallas wedding costing more than $28,000 and including 141 guests, this gives brides a ballpark idea of what they might be looking at as far as wedding costs. Now, I have to say, a ton of Dallas weddings cost way more than this, particularly for weddings at some of the more popular venues in Dallas. And when brides are wanting exquisite decor or want to have top-notch photography or videography, those costs will go up significantly, but again, this is a good starting point as well as a reality check for those brides with, as they say, champagne tastes and a beer budget.

Dallas/Fort Worth Wedding Statistics [Infographic]So, what do you think? Do you think that average costs seems low, high, or right about, well… average?

Well, our Dallas wedding fits into these parameters almost exactly. Same guest count, same budget, same amount spent in most of the categories. Eerily similar!ReplyCancel
