Meet Event Coordinator Emily Rea!

From looking at the Hitched Events website, it might look like I’m a one-woman show. The truth is, there is absolutely no way I could run a wedding day without a little help, and my go-to girl on event days is my amazing Event Coordinator, Emily Rea. Since Emily’s approaching her one year anniversary of assisting me with events, a formal introduction on the Hitched Events blog is long overdue.

Emily has loved all things wedding from the time she was a young girl. While she used to plan her own nuptials while watching wedding television shows with her best friend, she is now immersed in the real world of weddings as she helps Hitched Events’ brides and grooms get down the aisle.

Originally from the Houston area, Emily attended Texas Tech University, where she was an active member of her sorority. She graduated from Texas Tech with a degree in marketing and quickly moved to Dallas to start her career. In addition to moonlighting as an Event Coordinator with Hitched Events, Emily works as a corporate marketing and tradeshow coordinator in Dallas.

There’s no end to the list of miscellaneous tasks Emily takes care of for our clients on wedding day. From running unexpected errands to making sure the bridal party gets where they need to be at the right time, Emily is calm, cool and collected 100% of the time. Emily is a member of the Association of Bridal Consultants and a contributing writer to the Hitched Events blog. She is the perfect addition to the Hitched Events team, and I feel incredibly lucky that our paths crossed at just the right time.
