Michelle and Steve got hitched yesterday at the Dallas Arboretum, and the evening was just about as perfect as it gets! After a terrible day of cold, rainy weather on Saturday, we were all holding our breath and hoping that the Sunday weather would turn around…. and we were in luck! The rain stopped around noon and the clouds parted shortly after, leaving clear skies for their sunset wedding.
Michelle and Steve included a ton of personal touches in their celebration, from having the guests “warm” the rings at the start of the ceremony with their love, prayers and positive thoughts, to the father/daughter dance accompanied by an accordion player as a tribute to her Polish parents (and as a surprise for the Father of the Bride!). I’ll certainly share some photos from the pros once I get them, but until then, here are a few of the adorable couple from their engagement session with Jenny Martell Photography.
I love my job, but when I get to meet and work with wonderful couples like Michelle and Steve, it’s the icing on the wedding cake! The couple leaves today for a mini-moon in New Orleans with their closest friends. A European honeymoon will follow, as Michelle and Steve will be moving to Amsterdam for a year beginning this summer.
