One of the things I love so much about the Dallas wedding industry is that there are so many reception venues to choose from. Whether you’re looking for something traditional or contemporary, a hotel ballroom or something on the complete opposite end of the spectrum, Dallas has it. There really is something for everyone. My personal aesthetic leans toward more contemporary spaces as opposed to super traditional ones, which is one of the reasons I really like Edison’s.
Located just south of Dallas, Edison’s has space in the largest room for more than 300 seated, and when combining spaces can accommodate as many as 500 seated or 900 for cocktails. But brides with smaller guests lists shouldn’t cross it off their list. The venue has smaller event spaces for more intimate groups as well.
Brides looking for a venue to accommodate both the wedding ceremony and reception will love Edison’s option. The exposed brick walls and draping options make for a unique ceremony set-up.
Edison’s outdoor patio is quite large and makes for a great area for the cocktail hour.
But don’t take my word for it… check out Edison’s for yourself at Edison’s Night of Winter Wonder Open House on Thursday, January 19. From 7:00 to 8:30 p.m., brides and grooms can check out the venue and mingle with wedding vendors while enjoying complimentary cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. The event is completely free, simply RSVP here!
